Skoda Wheel Centre Caps ChangeSeptember 8, 2018
Goal: To replace all emblems on my 2010 Yeti with Skoda’s new silver & black design.
And that includes the one on my steering wheel. Somehow! 🙄
These wheel centre caps are an easy modification.
The wheels don’t even need to come off
And they’re a cheap mod too.
If you want these new Skoda design wheel centre caps for your Yeti too they’re here on Amazon
So, they arrived quickly.
This is what I’m getting rid of. I like this design but Skoda doesn’t like it anymore.
I want to bring my Yeti right up to date, so I need to change these.
A thin screwdriver or thin, blunt knife prised between the cap and the alloy will get the cap off without any damage to the wheel.
I use this opportunity to check the thickness of my brake discs and pads with my fingers. They’re gonna need changing I reckon in about half a year.
*UPDATE* – Now done. See here: New discs and pads
The new centre cap just clicks into place
Give it a tap with your palm and it’s in.
*UPDATE* – I’ve since upgraded my wheels. See here: 17″ black Erebus alloys
Feel free to stay tuned for more modifications I have planned.
You can see what I have done so far, here: Yeti Customisation

And I am always interested to hear about your Yeti, customised or not.
