Skoda Wheel Centre Caps Change

Skoda Wheel Centre Caps Change

September 8, 2018 2 By Yeti Admin

Goal: To replace all emblems on my 2010 Yeti with Skoda’s new silver & black design

Achieved so far: Bonnet and tailgate badges. Ignition key emblem

These wheel centre caps were an easy modification.

The wheels don’t even need to come off

And they’re a cheap mod too.

If you want these new Skoda design wheel centre caps they’re here on Amazon.

So, they arrived quickly.

This is what I’m getting rid of. I like this design but Skoda doesn’t like it anymore.

I want to bring my Yeti right up to date, so I need to change these.

Yeti alloy wheel

A thin screwdriver or thin, blunt knife prised between the cap and the alloy will get the cap off without any damage to the wheel.

Just be careful

Take your time and one at a time. No rush.

Remove Yeti wheel cap

I used this opportunity to check the thickness of my brake discs and pads with my fingers. They’re gonna need changing I reckon in about half a year.

The new centre cap just clicks into place

Give it a tap with your palm and it’s in.

Skoda wheel centerFeel free to stay tuned for more modifications I have planned.

You can see what I have done so far, here: Yeti Customisation.
